Writing has never come easy for me. I was 15 when diagnosed with dyslexia. I push through the obstacles to share my approach to life, love and the victory of telling a story!

Yes, photography was my first love and picking up that camera at 13 truly made my pulse race, and my hands get sweaty.

It was love at first click!

Twenty plus years later it still makes my pulse react but so does the true love of my life. I found love when I was not looking and each day is a blessing to wake up next to my best friend. We have a 10-year old that keeps life interesting and at time me feeling old... I don't get snap chat!

I love books (ok, its an obsession) biking, pugs, fixer-upper and seeing others take the brave step of existing in their story!

"Each of us has that right, that possibility, to invent ourselves daily. If a person does not invent herself, she will be invented.

So, to be bodacious enough to invent ourselves is wise."

Maya Angelou
