Never Let Anyone Take Away Who You Are

When you choose to step up play big in life you will meet bullies (fear) along your way. They say it's when you're close to your break through that fear builds its army to try and take you down.... how do I know this? I personally have gone through this attack and I have watched others. And so have you! 

When I think of the great start overs I have so many that inspire me, take Tina Turner to start. She was knocked down over and over and repressed. Tina fought hard to break free of the physical abuse and mental abuse Ike put her through. But I think we all know that an attack was just the start for her. She fought her own personal attacks, fighting the good fight in her mind and in her thoughts. When you are beat down from the outside it seems to fuel the inside negative voice. I wish that could be re-wired!!!

The naysayer peeps in our lives also seem to come forward. It gives them a sense of power and authority in the world that they may not otherwise experience. 

Paralyzing. That's the word that comes to mind when I think of fear. I know it has shut me down and derailed me from my purpose and my passion.

What did Miley say in that song 'The Climb'

I can almost see it

Every move I make feels

I can so relate to these word's. Every start over I have done in my life, regardless if it's personal or professional there is fear lurking. I offer you this... You are not alone! I am here along with an army of women that want to help RISE us each up.

I know I have been completely surprised the strong women that have shared their FEARS with me. I would have never thought in a million years they had any. That's what makes beating fear REAL. See the damn buzzard for what it is! Let me ask you this, would you let a bunch of flies land and play on your plate of food? Then why do we let fear... that's exactly what fear is! An ugly thing that buzzes around us trying to take our attention away from our purpose and when it lands we swat at it to chase it away.

Be strong, speak your truth, share your LIFE experience. Never let anyone take away who you are!
